Don't shed a tear for me
as I clasp my hands and grieve.
Your love washed away by time,
for I am not the one you wanted me to be.
Why are you gone?
I thought about you every single day,
for what felt like an eternity.
Your presence tortures the mind,
as for I am nothing but a broken dream.
I am only your memories.
