It was an ordinary day, when we got a call in daycare that our grandma would be picking us up early. We were confused at first until we got into the car and she screamed “YOUR SISTER IS ON THE WAY.” We didn’t really know what that meant at the time but when we got to the hospital and saw her in our mother’s arms, we sprinted to the bed to see our new baby sister. And that’s the day when my praise for being the only girl died forever.
